Bharath Agro Processing and Marketing Cooperative Ltd.
BAMCO is a registered Multi State Co-operative Society under section 7 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002. The area of operation of the society will be the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. We are supported by Sahakar Bharathi, the largest Cooperative Organizers in India. We have more than 200 primary agricultural cooperative societies in our associated group. Also accredited as CBBO by NAFED and Central SFAC from 2021 onwards.
Main Objectives of the Society are:
Establish, promote, maintain and manage the business relating to process, manufacture, purchase, sales, finance, and export of all kinds of agricultural commodities and its by-products produced by farmers.
Promotion of farming activities among the farmers by providing scientifically developed seeds, plants, organic manures, technical know-how, and agricultural marketing infrastructure.
We are associated with a number of farmer groups doing individual and group farming activities. One of our directors is also the director of Vanilla India Producer Company which is the first Farmer Producer Company associated with BAMCO in India. Provided support in promoting Farmer Producer Companiesin Kannur, Idukki, Kottayam and Ernakulam Districts also with our associated organization.
Promote and undertake the formation of any institution, subsidiary society under any constitution for the purpose, which may seem directly or indirectly to the benefit of the cooperative.
Act as an institutional broker, agent, and surveyor, for any insurance company for insuring crops, property, health and lives of farmers.

BAMCO as CBBO (Cluster Based Business Organization)
We got empanelled as a CBBO by NAFED from 24 th March 2021 onwards. A total of 39 FPOs have been allotted to us in three phases. The first allotment was on 26 th of March, 2021in which we got five FPO sin Kerala. The second allotment was done on14 th of July, 2021 in which fifteen FPOs were given to us in Kerala,Karnataka,Tamil Naduand Puducherry. The third allotment was held on 01.02.2023, in which we were given 5 FPOs for women. Finally, in 2025, we were granted 15 more FPOs in three districts Ernakulam, Malappuram and Kannur. All the FPOs in the first phase were successfully registered. The registration processes of
these FPOs are ongoing. At first, we were allotted with 5 special crop FPO sin Kerala. We have been working for their promotion from then onwards and we have successfully completed their Registration.

The registered FPOs are as follows:
The first FPO to be registered was Malanadan Farmers Producer Company Limited which is located in Nedumkandom, Idukki district of Kerala. The registration was done on 01 st June, 2021. The One District One Product assigned for this district is spices. The primary product focused by the FPO is spices whereas the secondary products are fruits and cool vegetables.
Spice Land Farmers Producer Company Limited is the second one to get registered on 3 rd June, 2021. It is located in Thodupuzha, Idukki district. The ODOP of this place is spices which is also the primary product of focus for the FPO. The secondary product of focus is vegetables.
The third FPO to be registered is Rackad Agro Products and Industries Farmers Producer Company Limited. It was registered on 11 th June, 2021 and is located in Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam. The ODOP for this region is pineapple and the primary product of focus is also pineapple. The secondary product opted is vegetables.
The registration of fourth FPO i.e Cocotech Agro Industries Farmers Producer Company Limited was done on 25 th June, 2021. This FPO is located in Vazhakulam, Erankulam. The primary product of focus in coconut and the secondary product is pineapple.
